A motorbike rider carrying a passenger was hit Monday afternoon, January 11, 2021, by a Toyota Corolla on the Sogakope-Aflao road.
Eyewitnesses say a parked tipper truck obstructed the view of the speeding Toyota Corolla from seeing the oncoming okada rider who was crossing the road.
The Toyota Corolla smashed the rider and his passenger, claiming his life and injuring that of the passenger.
Meanwhile, some youths of Sogakope resorted to building a speed ramp on the road minutes after the accident.
According to them, accidents around the Sogakope Y-junction are becoming too much’
Their work slowed vehicular movement on the road for at least an hour.
