Some workers at YFm on Friday, 8th May 2020, took to Twitter to announce that their contract have been terminated due to reasons revealed later on Ghanaweb.com.
YFM’s ‘Dryve of Ur Lyf’ show host Joel Orleans said he had his contract terminated, although he initially wrote that he was fired.
Naa Adzorkor Addo (Ms Naa) and Caroline Sampson also suffered the same fate, according to many sources.
Ms Naa was the host of YFM’s ‘Rhyse and Shyne’ morning show, while Caroline was the presenter for the weekly show, “Shoutout Y”.
They both shared what they will miss about their former radio station.
Ghanaweb.com gathered that most of the big names at the radio station were laid off due to a significant dip in revenue from advertising as companies are affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Enewsgh.com listed Killerfingers, Agnes Ntow, Snoop, and Blackboy as some workers who have suffered from this layoff.
