Clean-up exercise: Sogakope NADMO shares expired mosquito coils to participants

We were notified by one Theophilus Jahlead about some expired mosquito coils handed to participants of a cleanup exercise in Sogakope on Thursday, 14th May 2020.

According to Theophilus, the gesture was a sign of disrespect to all participants, especially the mothers.

SOGA WeDey, did you know that the Sogakope Assembly organized our mothers and used them for communal labor today and disrespected them by giving them an expired mosquito coil? Not even sanitizers. I’m getting the photos to tag Paul Fiador …,” he wrote to us on Facebook.

He later confirmed via one of the participants, whose name is Bali Wisdom, that the expired mosquito coils were donated by the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), Sogakope.

“NADMO your branch in Sogakope shared expired mosquito coils to our mothers after yesterday’s communal labor, only God knows how many more regions these expired products are going to be distributed”, he shared his sentiments.
