Veckon Bakery on Friday, 17th April 2020, donated some relief items to two hospitals in Sogakope, Volta Region, as part of efforts to fight the spread of coronavirus in Ghana.
Gallons of alcohol-based hand sanitizers, Jumbo tissue packs, and boxes of baked soaps were donated to the Sogakope District Hospital and the Richard Novati Catholic Hospital (formerly, Comboni Hospital).
The items were received on behalf of the hospitals by their respective medical superintendents — Mr. Adolph Bansah (RNCH Hospital) and Dr. Ahmed (Sogakope District Hospital) — who thanked the bread bakery for their support in such an important time.
Since the spread of the virus in the country, the bakery has not been operating as they used to.
