Tongu Easter Gala Committee presents the Easter Football Gala 2020, a football competition slated for the 1st of April to the 3rd of May 2020.
It is the first of its kind to hit the Tongu land.
With the growing number of youths venturing into sports, particularly in many parts of the Tongu land, the organizers of the Easter Football Gala seek to empower youths in the Central, Northern and Southern parts of Tongu to continue to pursue their talent.
They require participants to register their football clubs with just 100ghc, from now to the end of March 2020. This amount, they say, is not refundable once it’s used to purchase their registration form.
The football tournament will be spread across the three Tongu districts to bring balance to the competition. The various centers for the games include Sogakope, Adidome, Battor, and Juapong.
The Tongu Easter Gala Committee will also present awards to individuals and top teams at the end of the football competition. Cash prizes, trophy, golden boot, and golden glove are among the awards going to be presented at the end of the competition in May 2020.
They promise to make their maiden sporting event a memorable one in the Tongu land.
