Ho Teaching Hospital now testing for coronavirus

Reliable information reaching GHwedey.com has it that the Ho Teaching Hospital is testing for coronavirus cases in the Volta Region.

Earlier reports of some 16 persons under quarantine in the Region seemed to have threatened the safety of many residents.

It is with this awareness and many more that the Ho Teaching Hospital is offering its emergency unit for testing the novel coronavirus.

They’ve asked for those with symptoms of the infectious disease to rush to their unit for immediate testing.

Symptoms of coronavirus include fever, dry cough, shortness of breath, loss of smell, sputum production, muscle pain, sore throat, headache, chills, and others.

  1. My name is Amos Jah, the PRO of the Ho Teaching Hospital. I would like to put on record that, the facility is not testing for COVID-19. In fact, no facility in Ghana has the capacity to do that. All samples taken, are sent to Noguchi. So please stop spreading the Fake News.
