Hundreds of youths in Sogakope are currently on a candlelight vigil in honor of the late Marcus Mawutor Adzahli, Assemblyman for Sogakope South.

The candlelight vigil which started at the Y-junction, Sogakope, saw many youths dressed in black and red carrying candles on the streets of Sogakope.
According to a poster online, the vigil is in remembrance of the late Hon. Marcus Mawutor Adzhali.
The Sogakope South Assemblyman was murdered in his Sogakope residence by a group of gunmen on 1st March 2020.
His gruesome death has led to a series of unusual events in Sogakope, one of which is the candlelight vigil.
For a long time, the youths of Sogakope have been united.
