The Muslim community in Dabala is thanking Hon. Kobena Mensah Woyome, member of parliament for South Tongu, for purchasing airtime on Sela Radio 97.1 MHz dedicated to teaching the Islamic faith.

Islamic Hour aired every Friday from 6:30 – 7:30 am is paid for by Hon. Kobena Mensah Woyome.

Mr Gati, the MP’s communication officer, revealed this to the leaders of the Dabala Muslim community during a donation on Eid-Ul-Fitr, 13th May 2021.

On hearing this, Mallam Ibrahim, the community organizer, thanked the MP on behalf of the Muslim community for his continued support.

“… We all know that such things (radio airtime) ought to be paid for. We are told that you are the one paying for it when it should be us. God bless you and give you long life. Even if you step down, we pray you look for someone who will carry on your good works”, Mallam Ibrahim said.

Hon. Woyome donated 5 bags of Copa Jasmine rice and two cartons of cooking oil to them on Eid-ul-Fitr.
