Sogakope Assemblyman’s Killing: Suspects to reappear in court on Tuesday, May 26

The Ghana Police Service announced about a month ago that five (5) suspects in the murder of Hon. Marcus Mawutor Adzhali, assembly member for Sogakope South electoral area, have been remanded into police custody by the Dabala District Court.

The suspects namely, Vincent Adjei, 34; Bright Awuya, 33; Franklin Tetteh 22; Ansong Steven 26; and Amos Agbaklah 25, will reappear in court on Tuesday, 26th May 2020.

In a press briefing on May 4, 2020, the Director-General of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) COP Mr. Ken Yeboah said one of the suspects Amos Agbaklah confessed that the murder was a result of resistance on the part of the assemblyman.
