Residents in Sogakope have recovered from yesterday’s disinfection exercise which started around 10 in the morning.
The exercise is according to the president’s directives to disinfect all 16 regions of the country against the novel coronavirus.
Among the 75 markets listed in the Volta Region was the Sogakope market.
Although the exercise was delayed, it was completed anyway.
Businesses have returned and the Sogakope market is being used again. The half-empty streets are now packed with users.
