The National Communications Authority (NCA) on Monday morning, 20th April 2020, seized and confiscated equipment belonging to Radio Tongu 92.1 Fm for illegally operating on Saturday, 18th April 2020.
However, according to the NCA, they are yet to find a lasting solution.
In paragraph 8 of their press release on Monday, 20th April 2020, they gave a glimpse into the future of the radio station.
“As a community radio station, the NCA will continue to engage the leadership of the South Tongu Community/TCMN and the District Security Council to find a lasting solution to the impasse, while the law takes its course with regard to the individuals arrested.“
